The pause in the 375 project allows us to strengthen the foundation that will make this project truly transformative. MDOT, the City of Detroit, Downtown Detroit Partnership, and The Kresge Foundation have deepened our collaboration to recognize this is not just rebuilding a roadway but that doing the necessary work in rebuilding trust and creating a model for how major infrastructure projects can advance community priorities. Our joint commitment ensures the community will help determine what gets built and how it serves their needs.
